Even when company founder Carl Schlösser applied for his first patents for gas fittings over 100 years ago, he was already producing the necessary gaskets himself. Even then, Schlösser was always in search of the ideal solution.
A desire which runs like a continuous thread through the whole history of the company. Today there is hardly any sector in which Schlösser is not represented by a range of highly specialised products. From machines of all types, to cars, ships, aircraft, trains, household and electrical appliances and on to aerospace products – there is today hardly anything which moves, floats, flies or functions without products from Schlösser.
